From 2007 to 2008
Any good advice book will tell you that if your ultimate intent in life is to get things done then you should write your goals and accomplishments down so as to keep track of your progress and commit to them. Easier said then done but I was very much inspired by Keith’s entry on his own personal endeavors and so I would like to use that as a reference to layout out my plans for next year and...

Criminals Gone Wild →
This DVD features “100% REAL”, footage of bold criminals audacious enough to be willingly videotaped or unwillingly surveillanced as they go on brutal rampages on US streets and soil. And some a$$shole is actually making a profit out of selling this crap.

A Christmas Story
The image and concept of the movie remains so fresh in my memory from year to year that I still don’t mine indulging in the 24hr marathon of the film courtesy of TBS. This movie was virtually invisible when it was originally released, but has since become a holiday classic. All of us can relate to Ralphie’s quest on some level, and many can probably empathize with the parents as...

National Treasure
Nicolas Cage and Jerry Bruckheimer have done it yet again with second installment of Nation Treasure: The Book of Secrets. It’s true that this movie is completely unrealistic and also rather silly at times, but it’s also a lot of fun and provides quality entertainment that gets you thinking about weather these real treasures exist. I was captivated by this whole genre ever since The Da...

Taking Photography Courses
To me it’s not an expensive camera what makes a photograph compelling and appealing to look at, it’s more about the person behind the camera and the “eye” that you may have in capturing moments. I don’t consider myself in expert in the field at all but I do have a passion for the craft that is photography and that same passion is what drives me to think about each...

First 2008 Trip
Last night we finally booked our trip to LA for January. We’ll be leaving on the 24th which is a Thursday at 6:30a.m. and returning on Sunday night. The reason for the long weekend getaway is to explore more of the US but to also visit a good friend that we made in Paris during the summer on our Segway tour.

Fresh Direct
It’s no surprise that you can do almost anything nowadays through the internet and that even entails grocery shopping. The service has been in existent for quite a while but it was never an option for me because base on my location, I didn’t qualify for the service. But now that I reside in Brooklyn, I’ve opted to give Fresh Direct a try not because of being lazy in my part but...

I Am Legend
I was tempted to purchased the book in anticipation of the release of the film but without necessarily reading it I got the premise behind it I Am Legend. A great story that makes you think how you would cope with being alone in the world. Will Smith’s performance was great, believable and comparable to Hank’s great work in Castaway. Here’s something to think about: “How...

Flickr Hits
Flickr introduced the other day “statistics” to their already great photo sharing service and after it crunched the numbers for me, this is the most viewed photo out of all of them. It has a total of 15,450 hits. I wonder why.

Homage to Starbucks
If you’re a frequent Starbucks aficionado as much as I am, you may have notice that in almost every location they have one maroon wall dedication to random photos perfectly frames for the mere purpose of decoration. It’s always captured my attention so over the weekend, after a 5 coats of custom paint, I decided to setup my very own wall. At the moment, the present photos are for...

New Apple Store visit
I wouldn’t say unfortunately but I already had prior engagement for last night which is why I was unable to attend the grand opening of the new Apple store on W 14st in New York. Parents came over for dinner at our new apartment and I was well satisfied with the outcome. So today I made it my business to head into the city and see what the new location was like. It was very crowded to...

Making films
Last week I helped a friend edit a short bio of himself that he eventually submitted to Mi TRL for being a semi-finalist to be selected as a co-presenter to an MTV award show. I didn’t participate in the filming itself but rather in the post-production and despite the long day of working on it, it brought back a great feeling a creating something for others to view. I’m adding going...

Quick Launchers
Quicksilver has forever been the launcher of choice for Mac enthusiast and as much as I consider myself to be one of them, I haven’t been quite fond of the application. I’ve resorted to utilizing the trusty dock as my go-to place for all the launching of applications…until now. Feast your eyes on Sapien! A much more intuitive launcher of applications with simplicity in use....

Looking back at 2007
So the end of the year is rapidly approaching and before we know it, we’ll be cheering with champagne in hand with friends and family reminiscing about how bad or good of a year 2007 was. I personally have nothing but great things to reminisce about. From moving in with my girlfriend, to visiting Paris twice, once with my family and the other with the Ms, to touring London, to gracing...

On receiving comments
There’s a few articles out in the realm that is the web that give you advice in how to best engage your readers so that they can comment back on the topic at hand. While I appreciate anyones perspective on random rants that I might write about, there are those that are completely oppose to them, at least on the blog itself. They prefer to get all the feedback via email. I think I’m one...

Something Different
So I haven’t necessarily neglected my convention blog but I figured I give this format of posting random text a chance. I’ve been a faithful Wordpress user for 4 years and I’ve come a long way in experimenting with various layouts and upgrading as it got better every year but now I would like to focus on something even more simplistic.  When it comes to writing, it shouldn’t all...
