Share Option on iPhone
So I got a couple emails the other day from friends asking me how our mini-vacation went in LA over this past weekend and to me there was no better way to answer that than to show them with the photos I took. For the most part, I answer and manage my emails through the iPhone and today when I was trying to email the link for my Flickr page, I noticed that ever since I upgraded to 1.1.3...

A blonde woman walks into her local dry cleaners to drop off a sweater. The worker is partially deaf:
Woman: hi, I'm dropping this off.
Worker: I'm sorry, come again.
Woman: no, it's mustard this time.

Back From Los Angeles
So we got back on Monday morning from Los Angeles after a much needed getaway and it was great visiting a good friend we made back in Paris and we thank him for his welcoming hospitality. Well it goes really without saying, but it’s definately true; you have to go at least once. The city is so much a part of American culture, and yet it is so unique among other American cities. It is...

On Cloverfield
While in LA, we had some free time to spare before heading out to Magnolia’s for dinner with Paul so we went into Mann’s theatre on Hollywood Blvd to give Cloverfield a whirl and to see what the whole fuss was about. Let me just say this. Not that I wish for anything like that to happen but I’ve always been fascinated by movies that deal with something inexplicable taking over...

Greetings from LA
Customary travel initiations this morning to LA were very seamless. I enjoy the fact that you’re no longer confine to waiting on line to check-in and be handed your boarding pass. Self-service by a swipe of your passport is certainly the way to go and relieve the headache. But then again they get back at you in the plane by charging you for food and even the headphones. To kick off travel...

Ever since Apple released the ability for iPhone users to create their own custom webclip icons, there’s been a slew of helpful resources to get this accomplish even easier. It’s great and interesting to see how close together the Apple community becomes when something like this was much desired as soon as it was announced. WebClipMe also has various icons to choose from.

Obsession with Moleskines
My girlfriend would be the first too tell you that whenever we decide to visit our neighborly Borders, I have this keen obsession of working my way from the front of the store, perusing through all the latest book releases, to ultimately finding my way to the journal section and staring endlessly at the array of Moleskine notebooks. So you’re probably thinking what’s the big deal...

Soldiers in Uniform
There’s been something on my mind for the past couple of weeks and I’ve failed to make mention about it because of the risk of coming across as a**hole but what the heck. I’m sure you’ve come across them every now and then and you might have asked yourself the same question too but why is it that we see soldiers who have been fighting abroad for our country, walking...

Texting is the New Hey
I don’t think anyone is predicting the death of e-mails anytime soon but this means of communication has become most associated with school or work. Nowadays we’ve all resorted to a more simplistic version of an e-mail which I consider to be instant and text messaging and to the chatter generated in blogs and even a service that I’ve grown addicted to, Twitter. Some...

Chronicles of Narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia-The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is an excellent movie. Great acting and wonderful production. Perhaps one of the coolest things about the film are some of the effects, and more specifically, the way the creatures are used. This isn’t like Lord of The Rings where you got some elves and orcs - you generally have a mix of hundreds of creatures and animals in...

Unmasking D.B. Cooper →
D. B. Cooper (aka “Dan Cooper”) is a pseudonym of a aircraft hijacker who, on November 24, 1971, after receiving a ransom payout of US$200,000,[1] jumped from the back of a Boeing 727 as it was flying over the Pacific Northwest of the United States somewhere over the Cascade Mountains, possibly over Woodland, Washington.[

Angels & Demons
Aside from the turisitic aspect of the trip, one of the main reason why I was so eager to visit Paris was because of The Da Vinci Code book. The sheer mystery and excitement of visiting all these well known locations that were mentioned in the book boost my anticipation. And now I’m currently really engaged in Angels & Demons which ironically enough is the prequel to The Da Vinci Code.

6 gadgets I can't live without
1. The iPhone: Absolutely aesthetically pleasing to look and so simple to use. Nothing compares to it regardless of what all those Blackberry users say. 2. Digital camera: For common use, I have with me in the car a Canon A80 and when I want to engage into true photographic mode, I whip out the Nikon D80. 3. Bose Noise-canceling headphones: whether it’s music or a movie that you want to...

Some Fiction
Not many people know this but in addition to being a graphic designer, I like to think I have an alter ego as a writer. Nothing that I necessarily brag about because to me it’s nothing special but there’s something cathartic about it. Below is a piece from a short story that we had to compose in a creative writing class in college. The body rested in a fine mahogany coffin fitted...
