Simple Human Products
In continuation with the theme that we have established in our apartment with stainless steal kitchen products, I came across an awesome company today perfectly entitled Simple Human. Their household products are very reminiscent of the aesthetic-focused design that Apple upholds with everything they have on the market and so the attraction was immediate. Quite ironically the simple stuff comes...

Before the only way to tweak your dock and sprinkle a little bit of customization was using Panic’s Candybar, which does way more than that also but it comes with a price of $30. If all you’re concern with is swapping dock background, in comes Dock Libary. Did I mention it’s FREE.

Console Shopping
I’m almost ashamed to admit that I don’t own a console system. All my previous gaming days derived from my brother’s systems (PS3 & Xbox 360) and ever since I’ve been living on my own with my girlfriend, I’ve contemplated the thought of buying a console but just don’t know which one at the moment being as how they all offer different amenities. I’m...

Netflix Friends
Merely for the purpose of convenience, being a Netflix member for 3 years now has allowed me to rent, view and rate more films that I would have ever imagined in comparison to endless drives to neighboring Blockbuster. You would think that because of the massive library of films at the customer’s disposable, it would be almost impossible to run out of movies to watch but I feel that...

Tumblr to launch pro service →
“Simple blogging service Tumblr is launching an exciting new feature in the coming weeks. In short, it lets you add a submit button to your Tumblog that lets anyone and everyone write something for you to put on your blog.” I’m particularly fond of the service but not of the new idea.

Luggage Shopping
During our trip to LA back in January, my luggage was one of the unfortunate ones to have been tossed a little too forcefully causing the zipper to bust open as it cruised around the carousel at LAX airport. To top things off, on our way back to New York, as I was unloading the luggage from the rental car, one of the handles rips right off. Needless to say, I need a new luggage to travel. So much...

MAC Girls
When I say MAC girls, I’m not necessarily referring to girls and Apple computers but more about the cosmetic company and the women who work either the actual store or at Macy’s kiosk. You’ve probably notice the elite set of women all dressed in black, highly overdone with their own product, loud music coming from their direction and a demeanor that makes them think they’re...

Search Feature
I’m not particularly fond of the archive layout in Tumblr, so to alleviate going through the pain of sifting through long pages, I’ve added a nifty search feature at the bottom of the page for your searching pleasure. It plays on live search so you can easily find interesting entries quickly.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall
From the producers of The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up comes a comedic film about a guy fleeing to Hawaii with the intent to get over his girlfriend. Absolute comedic delivery from start to finish. I assure you’ll get surprised within the first 5 minutes of the film. With a strong story that the anyone can relate to and elaborate characters, Forgetting Sarah Marshall could easily earn...

Quick Tip: Properly installing RAM on your MacBook Pro When it came to installing additional (2GB) RAM on my MBP, ordering from Crucial was much more effortless than dealing with small screws and the removal of delicate chips. Video Camera Shopping
Most of my media sharing at the moment revolves strongly around photography. Second to my passport and luggage, I always make sure my camera is accounted for when going on trips. But now with the much publicized ability to share “long photos” on Flickr, lately I’ve been more inclined to participate and experiment more with video, which in essence means that I’m in the...

Just a thought… Now the idea sounds absurd but hear me out with this. We’ve all watched a film that we’ve enjoyed so much that upon ending, you get the inexplicably feeling of wanting to see it again but unfortunately the experience and excitement is not same because you already know the development of the plot and what does and does not happen. So in essence, the element of...

Tumblr Recommendations
Since the inception of my little web space here, I’ve experimented with several CMS from Blogger, TextPattern, Wordpress, Simplelog (installation was a b*tch so I gave up on it) and now Tumblr and out of all of these, Tumblr stands out to me more because of it’s simplicity in use and variety of formats to publish. So while it’s great and it serves it’s purpose for me, it...

Retail Employee Predicts Something Big is Coming →
“There have been some crazy things going on recently. The changes that we are being asked as per corporates direction makes me think that the people at the top think something VERY big is going to be happening to the economy soon. Going on Eastern Caribbean
Last time I mentioned vacation, we were still deliberating whether our next one would be a European or Caribbean one. Normally we’ve booked all of our excursions via Expedia but for this one, I needed more information than what you can’t get from a screen so we visited Liberty Travel for booking. We had a blast in Paris & London last summer and I really wanted to replicate the...

Why do you Twitter?
I was looking at the amount of Twitter updates that I’ve published thus far and I was astounded to see the numbers (currently 1,061). There’s no question that the service has become a huge means of online communication almost second I would say to emails. I’ve mentioned the service to a few friends who are not necessarily as enthusiastic about the web as I am I guess which leads...

Quick Tip: How to get a free meal at the mall In the mall I’ve noticed that in some food locations, specifically where Chinese food is being served, near the cashier, there’s a sign that reads, “If we fail to give you a receipt with your purchase, then your meal is on us”. I wonder if that’s really true. So as an experiment and as a way to possibly get a free meal,...
