Like the idea
When the iPod video was released, I was one of the many consumers that relished the whole concept of expanding the use of the portal device. Now you could enjoy a favorite movie on your commute back home and avoid accidently staring at commuters in the train or bus. Now this hallmark is standard in the iPod Touch and iPhone but the question is how often do you really utilize this feature? The...

10 of the Most Annoying Things about the iPhone  →
A couple weeks ago, Australian blogger Arnold Aranez wrote about the top 10 things he liked about the iPhone so it was only natural to expect a list of dislikes to be mentioned as well, most of which I would agree with despite not owning a 3G but from what I’ve heard.

Quick Tip: Speed up your iTunes sync without... →
I was unaware of the constant complaints circulating the web regarding the long time the backup process takes on the iPhone with firmware 2.0. From my experience, the last option to resort would be in disabling this important feature but what you can do is follow some steps to minimize the process.

Edgar Mitchell: "Aliens Are Among Us"  →
It would be somewhat arrogant to think that we are the only life in the universe and while the government has always failed to admit to what many of us already believe, a former astronaut, Edgar Mitchell, admits that he believes aliens do exist and that space agencies have simply covered up evidence of it all this time.

Anti-Sagging Law →
When I go to the mall, my intentions are to browse through clothes or gadgets and purchase anything that draws my attention but it’s become increasingly annoying when you can’t help but come across guys with sagging jeans everywhere. Not sure if there’s much you can do about it but in Lynwood, Illinois people caught showing three or more inches of underwear will be fined $25 and...

Esparks Coffee
Some people suggest that because of Starbucks’ cultural popularity, they could very well operate without even selling coffee and just charging an entrance fee and offer nothing else but a warm, comfortable and pleasurable place to just hangout. On my new route to work this week, I’ve notice a new coffee house that strives to achieve that very same feeling for their customers called...

Ever since upgrading to new 2.0 firmware on the iPhone, it’s been one bug after another. A couple of apps unexpectedly quit (Twinkle) and my mail sync has gone awry. Whenever I try to sync the iPhone, I get this error message. What gives? UPDATE: Turns out all I had to do was restore my iPhone.

How to Make the Kindle a Mainstream Success →
If you’re like me waiting for another version of Amazon’s Kindle to be launched this year, then you may not have to wait longer than expected. No device is perfect but that’s a completely different argument with how popular a device is. Don offers some very compelling advice on what to do to get more Kindles visible on the street. Dropping the price perhaps?

Twinkle →
From the moment I first used the Twitterrific iPhone app I disliked it. It takes a long time to load, especially for a service that emphasizes casual updating. The scroll view is super laggy. Almost like trying to use a computer in the 90s while rendering something in a 3D app laggy. As if that weren’t enough it doesn’t cache user icons at all, even within the same session. If you scroll to the...

Despite Apple’s retail success and very much like their products, they’re taking steps even further to simplify your shopping experience next time you visit your local store. Certain job titles have been given more clarity which will be defined by the color of shirts.

Staff photographers generally walk around the cruise taking snaps of everyone which you are not necessarily obliged to purchase once they're printed and displayed in photo gallery but one particular guy was anxious to find his photo. He looked meticulously around and was beginning to get aggravated after not finding his photo. He walks up to the manager of the shop for assistance.
Guy: Excuse, how do I know which photo is mine?
Manager: (silence)
Manager walks behind the counter and pulls out a mirror and explains.
Manager: Well sir, you can walk around with this and which ever one matches you reflection, then that one is yours.

If you’ve seen Wall-E, then you’ll recall all those overweight characters aboard the cruise line who practically relied all their efforts on robots to accomplish mundane things for them and pigging out on everything in sight. With the exception of the actual bots themselves, not much is different from people’s eating habits on our cruise. The amount of food at your disposal is...

Off to the Caribbean
Now, this is going to by our first flight ever since the airlines really started cracking down on baggage and charging random fees for things that used to be free. I can almost expect to hear “Should the air masks drop down in an emergency, swipe your credit card to activate oxygen” in the preflight announcements soon enough. Vanessa and I are off to a caribbean cruise for 7 days to...

Wanted
Donnie wasn’t so keen with the film with the exception of him giving it “half a star only because you get to see Jolie’s butt.” Can’t argue with that statement although I have to respectfully disagree with the rest of his critique of the film. James McAvoy’s performance was fantastic. His character goes through an agonizing transformation that comes across as...

Barista: Hi, welcome to Starbucks, what can I get you?
Me: Yes, I'll have a two-pump vanilla, one and one quarter pumps sugar-free hazelnut, ristretto latte, with one-quarter soy, one-half nonfat, one-quarter organic milk, extra hot, with three ice cubes and whip.
Barista: Sure no problem, anything else?
Me: Yes. Throw in an oatmeal cookie in there too.

Amazon's Kindle Numbers: All Fluff, Zero Substance →
Market analysis website Seeking Alpha has posted an article on what appears to be the failure of Amazon’s “revolutionary” e-book reading device, the Kindle. Aside from the price, one of the reasons why I haven’t purchased one is because I would have like to seen one in person first but no one I know owns one and the following excerpt from the article confirms my theory....

Starbucks to close 600 US stores →
The one business that we thought was immune to the recession we may or may not be experiencing, has now declared that they will be closing down 600 stores nationwide. When you can stand inside one Starbucks, and look out the window and see another a couple blocks away, then you know it’s a sign that they are way too many already.

1966 Batman The Movie now on Blu-ray →
“Between a lawsuit preventing the classic 1960s hit TV series from coming out on DVD, Blu-ray or even being broadcast on TV and the bashing of the show as too silly, the Adam West/Burt Ward Batman does not get the respect it deserves” but now it’s being release by FOX on Blu-ray. In retrospect, the series was rather cheesy in nature but entertaining nevertheless.

I had a very embarrassing experience at a Barns & Noble restroom yesterday. There was no one when I entered the room so I went ahead and took care of business as human nature normally instructs me to. Finally as I headed towards the sink to wash my hands, I noticed in the reflection of the mirror in an open stall, what seemed to be a magazine secretly tucked where the toilet paper is kept. ...
