The title of photographer can mean so many things these days that I have come to dislike the question of, “What do you do for a living?” Nothing is more difficult than trying to explain the randomness that is my job. I sometimes reply, “Yes, weddings and stuff like that,” just to change the subject.
– Clever reply by Jon-Paul Douglass interpreting his craft –Whenever friends or acquaintances come across my photos on Flickr, their immediate comeback is how much they take pleasure viewing the photographs and end with asking if I’m a photographer. With much humbleness I state that “I’m just into photography” without necessarily labeling myself as being a true enthusiast.
