Greetings from LA
Customary travel initiations this morning to LA were very seamless. I enjoy the fact that you’re no longer confine to waiting on line to check-in and be handed your boarding pass. Self-service by a swipe of your passport is certainly the way to go and relieve the headache. But then again they get back at you in the plane by charging you for food and even the headphones.
To kick off travel for 2008, my girlfriend and I decided to take part in a 4 day weekend to LA not just for the touristic aspect but to visit a good friend that we made in Paris over the summer. A nice dinner to welcome us to his home town.
So far the weather hasn’t been in our favor. Conditions are expected to be continue with cloudy skies and chance of rain. Last time I was here was when I was 9 and now that I’m viewing it as an adult, I have to admit that the actual town of Hollywood rendered a bit of disappointment.
