I Loathe Guitar Hero
I’m sure a lot of you already know this game scenario: you play popular songs on a large shaped peripheral. The gameplay mainly comprises of clicking one of five buttons representing frets, and pushing a little toggle up and down to represent strumming. Can you picture it now? Yes, I’m talking about Guitar Hero.

This almost feels as if it’s a controversial topic that I shouldn’t talk about because I’ll more than likely get a lot of slack for it but I can’t hide the fact that I feel indifferent towards the game and I have to admit, it is a little irritating due to the level of obsession and pandemonium that surrounds it. I’ve never played any of the Guitar Heroes nor do I have any interest in giving it a world before I judge it.
Sure, there’s a horde of silly video games out there but this one seems to be like a f*cking nasty sweaty irritating rash that just won’t go away but quite the opposite; people want it and enjoy scratching themselves. Again, this is just my personal opinion on the subject and if you’re one that finds yourself doing this at night, then to each it’s own. I fully understand the premise and idea of video games. You essentially engage in fictitious scenarios that you wouldn’t normally engage in reality. But I just don’t get this one and I don’t think I’ll ever will.
