Quick Tip: How to get a free meal at the mall
In the mall I’ve noticed that in some food locations, specifically where Chinese food is being served, near the cashier, there’s a sign that reads, “If we fail to give you a receipt with your purchase, then your meal is on us”. I wonder if that’s really true. So as an experiment and as a way to possibly get a free meal, I think the best strategy to test this form of customer service they have blatantly made obvious is to order food while a friend makes conversation with the cashier, with the intent to distract him and hopefully he’ll “forget” to hand me my receipt and subsequently a free meal will come out of this.
