Next month Vanessa and I will be embarking on our last vacation of the year. We’ll be flying down to Miami to board our 7 day caribbean cruise. Equipment wise, I’ve packed up with extra batteries and 8GB of memory to satisfy my photographic pleasure but the one thing I wish to expand without placing a dent on my pocket is lens.
I’ve always been fascinated with photos rendered by a fisheye lens so today I placed an advance rental order via Ziplens.com on one to take with me on the trip. The lens itself runs for about $600 and the 1 week rental is $45 but you also have other options to choose from in terms of how long you wish to keep and utilize the lens. Shipping both ways is prepaid and all of the return packing material is provided so returning a lens is as simple as packing it and dropping it off at your local post office.
