Today is my 29th birthday. Some would see this as a sign of being stressed because they’re getting (and looking) older while others would simply more grateful for the opportunity in having another year of life.

I lean towards the latter train of thought largely in part because of my lovely wife, family and friends that enrich me everyday and make me feel opposite of what my age may signify. (Photograph by The Rainbow)

“Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had, and what you’ve learned from them, and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.”

I’m not fearful of growing older. I’m more excited that I have someone in my life to grow older with.
