1. Photographer’s Wishlist

    There’s already numerous list out there that recommend the “best gifts for photographers”, so my intention is not to reiterate any of those listed but instead to list the not-so-mentioned accessories that may spice up your shooting experience. Mentioned in no particular order:

    • The Super-Secret Spy Lens: great adjunct to capture candid shots of people just living their lives and doing real things completely unaware that there’s a camera pointing at them.
    • Cullmann Large Suction Cup: suitable for mounting cameras and camcorders to glass, plastic and other such surfaces. For example, they are frequently used by those taking in-car and in-flight videos.
    • BlackRapid R-Strap: neat innovative strap that has a spot for your ID or business cards, a cell phone/radio holder, a spare-battery pocket, and room for two CF cards.
    Regardless of all the equipment that can serve as a great holiday gift, we often forget that aside from the tangible stuff, nothing beats a Pro Flickr account to share all those shots and gain inspiration from other enthusiast of the craft.
