Rather than having the traditional text box at the bottom of the page where readers can contribute with comments to a post, Jim Jeffers has taken a novel approach on the practice where instead you are able to highlight specific points in a post and reply to them directly all powered by jQuery. Using it is simple and he uses his site as a working demo of it:
just select the text you want to comment on, click the small “respond” button that pops up and you’ll be auto-scrolled to a comment form with your quoted text pre-formatted.However Jeffers has released the code as an open source project for others to build on.
