  1. Inaugural Panel Sells Exclusive TV Rights →

    Barack Obama’s inaugural organizing committee has struck deals with three television networks to the tune of more than $5 million, giving the networks exclusive access to inaugural events. It’s just another form of generating money that hopefully will be used to revitalize the economy but I can’t help sharing Olivia Munn’s view on this tactic:

    In this economy, I understand making the most out of every situation, but some things- like the inauguration- shouldn’t be for sale, in my opinion. Especially when they’re using the Lincoln Memorial to broadcast from (which belongs to everyone, not just politicians).
