One of the comical things about being stereotyped is that the traits that you’re constrained to sometimes have the advantage of being true even if the people making the assessment don’t know you personally. Christian Lander on Stuff White People Like and Apple products:
White people are reminded of their creativity, and need a Mac to creatively check email, creatively check websites, and creatively watch DVDs on planes. Plain and simple, white people don’t just like Apple, they love and need Apple to operate.Funny thing is that I’m Hispanic and yet I would classified myself in that Apple mix along with many more other funny observations made, which in return has me questioning my heritage, haha.
